Splatbird · Privacy policy
Splatbird collects nothing.
No account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. The game does not open a network connection of its own. This page explains what that means in detail.
Who we are
Splatbird is published by Studea Limited, a private company registered in England and Wales, company number 17228961. For any privacy question, write to hello@studea.co.uk.
What the app collects
Nothing. There is no sign-in, no email field, no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, and no advertising. We receive no personal data from the app, so we hold none and there is nothing for us to share, sell or lose.
What stays on your device
- Scores and records
- Your best runs and the three initials you sign them with. Stored on the device, visible only in the app.
- Progress
- Lifetime splat count and which birds and splat styles you have unlocked.
- Settings
- Volume, haptics, handedness and reduced motion.
All of it lives in the app's own storage on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes it, and that is the whole of your data-deletion process. None of it reaches us.
Purchases
The Splat Legend Pack is bought through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple handles the payment and tells the app one thing: whether the pack is unlocked. Your payment details never touch the app or our systems, and we never see them. Apple's handling of the transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Children
The game has no chat, no user-generated content, no links out to the web and no advertising, and it collects nothing from anyone, of any age. The only purchase is a single cosmetic pack, which iOS Screen Time can block.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase personal data a company holds about you. Because Splatbird sends us nothing, we hold no personal data about players and have nothing to return or erase. If you believe otherwise, email hello@studea.co.uk and we will look into it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
This website
studea.co.uk itself uses analytics, which is a separate matter from the app and is covered by our site privacy notice.
Changes
If a future version of Splatbird ever collects anything, this page changes before that version ships, and the date at the top changes with it.
