How the weekly eight works
- Eight questions ask about small frictions and choices from the current week.
- Most answers show a clearly labelled rough estimate of how common that answer may be.
- Some weeks include one private perspective question with no statistic.
- The finished portrait is saved to Your thread. There is no score, ranking or streak.
What stays free
The weekly eight, its rough estimates, Your thread, the reminder, the widget and the opening sourced portrait are free. They do not require an account or purchase.
Ordinary Odds Plus
Plus is £14.99 once, with no subscription. It adds 28 sourced portraits with 224 more questions. Each portrait shows the source and confidence behind its estimates.
Purchasing and restoring Plus
Open the Plus tab to buy the lifetime package. To restore it after reinstalling or moving to another device, open Plus and choose Restore purchase. Use the same App Store account that made the original purchase.
Apple handles payment and refund requests. Refunds can be requested at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Reminder and widget
The optional reminder is configured under About, then Reminder. It schedules one local iPhone notification on the day and hour you choose. The widget reads the same local data as the app. Neither feature sends your answers to Studea Limited.
Local data and privacy
Answers, portraits, history and reminder settings stay on your iPhone. Ordinary Odds has no account, advertising, analytics, backend sync or third-party tracking. The Privacy screen can remove saved answers, portraits and reminder settings. Read the Ordinary Odds privacy policy for full details.
